WIB Sponsors New SBDC Program to Help Businesses Retain Their Employees

Using federal ARRA funding, the Small Business Development Center has launched a local confidential program to assist businesses keep their doors open and retain employees.  For more information, open the attached brochure, or link to the SBDC website.

The Business Center offers links to informative sites related to the job market in Santa Cruz County.   CalJOBS offers employers a comprehensive interent system to post jobs, review resumes and search for qualified candidates.  Registration is FREE! 

The WFSCC Virtual Career Center is an online resource for businesses to find up-to-date inforamtion, Labor Market Information, post a job and much much more.  Registration is FREE! 

The Business Resource links (to the right) is a comprehensive list of websites providing relevant information to the business community recommended by the Workforce Santa Cruz County.

The California Employment Development Department (EDD) offers Employee Training Services and the Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC), just to name a few.
