Workforce Development Provides Priority of Services for Veterans and their Spouse:

Workforce development services are provided through a partnership including Employment Development Department, WIA, and the Workforce Investment Board (WIB). 

To request services at your local Career Center visit the EDD Workforce Service Branch in Capitola and talk to a Veteran Representative.  Remember to bring the following:

• DD Form 214, Discharge Papers and Separation Documents, or
• Veterans Administration Letter
• If you do not have a copy of your records, they can be ordered online at www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records/; select "Launch the eVetsRecs System to start your request Online" link.

Veterans who are interested in going back to school using Workforce Investment Act (WIA) funding will have to complete a WIA application which can be picked up at your local EDD office.  Your local Veteran Representative can assist in this matter.
